DysrupIT Announces Leadership Transition as Benjamin Romualdez Appointed CEO

DysrupIT has announced the appointment of Benjamin Romualdez as Chief Executive Officer, effective 1 May 2026, marking a significant milestone in the Company’s continued growth and evolution.

As part of the leadership transition, Co-Founder Andrew McCarroll will move from his role as CEO to Executive Chair, while Co-Founder and Owner Elizabeth Hermosura will transition to the DysrupIT Board as Founding Director. Both will remain actively involved at the Board level, working closely with the Leadership Team on strategic direction, partnerships, and the stewardship of DysrupIT’s culture and values.

The appointment reflects the next phase of DysrupIT’s journey following years of sustained growth across managed services, cloud, cybersecurity, AI, automation, and digital transformation.

“Building DysrupIT from the ground up has been a great privilege,” said Andrew McCarroll, Executive Chair and Co-Founder. “Benjamin has the vision, operational depth, client service, and people-first mindset to realise the full potential of the Company. Stepping into the Executive Chair role means I can pass the reins of DysrupIT to our new CEO, while the Board and I focus on strategy and growth, including the launch of our North American business and the continued expansion of our AI and Automation practice.”

Elizabeth Hermosura, Founding Director and Co-Founder, said the transition represents an exciting step forward while remaining grounded in the values that have shaped the business from the beginning.

Benjamin Romualdez brings more than 20 years of leadership experience across the technology and services sector, having held senior executive roles leading teams globally. Known for his strategic clarity, operational leadership, and client-centric approach, Benjamin has been closely aligned with DysrupIT’s mission and long-term vision.

Under his leadership, DysrupIT is expected to accelerate momentum across its managed services, enterprise cloud, AI, automation, and digital transformation offerings. Benjamin is a strong advocate for the role AI and automation play in building modern, high-performing organisations and has extensive experience helping businesses enhance operational performance while future-proofing their capabilities.

The leadership changes officially take effect from 1 May 2026. DysrupIT confirmed there will be no changes to day-to-day operations, client engagements, or service delivery throughout the transition, with the broader Executive Team remaining in place.

DysrupIT™ Partners with Philippines NGO – Bahay Tuluyan Changing The Lives of Children 

MAKATI, PHILIPPINES – DysrupIT, a leading Australian IT Cloud services company, announces its partnership with Bahay Tuluyan (BT). This non-government children’s rights organisation helps to prevent and respond to the abuse and exploitation of children in the Philippines.

DysrupIT’s connection to the Philippines runs deep, with a large Team in-country, managed by Filipino-born Australian owner Elizabeth Hermosura.

Hermosura said, “The partnership with Bahay Tuluyan is a clear choice. I’ve always wanted to support vulnerable children and youth in my country of birth. The partnership is a major step in realising this goal. It’s fantastic to find a partner on the ground with shared values and objectives.”

Bahay Tuluyan, meaning “forever home” in Filipino, has three centres in Manila, Laguna, and Quezon. Hermosura says, “Our partnership with BT will ensure Catherine Scerri and her Team can focus on providing ongoing emergency services to those in need. This includes long-term accommodation for homeless children and young adults.”

BT’s holistic programs also provide life skills to teenagers and young adults. It helps prepare them for adulthood, accessing education and on-the-job training. Hermosura said, “Our support will be long-term and broad reaching. It includes direct financial assistance to operate BT’s centres, monthly delivery of essentials packages like clothing and personal items, to hands-on involvement from the DysrupIT™ Team. Our goal is to set BT residents on the path to independence.”

DysrupIT™ will also offer paid internships and provide education through its Udemy-powered online training platform.
