DysrupIT Announces Leadership Transition as Benjamin Romualdez Appointed CEO

DysrupIT has announced the appointment of Benjamin Romualdez as Chief Executive Officer, effective 1 May 2026, marking a significant milestone in the Company’s continued growth and evolution.

As part of the leadership transition, Co-Founder Andrew McCarroll will move from his role as CEO to Executive Chair, while Co-Founder and Owner Elizabeth Hermosura will transition to the DysrupIT Board as Founding Director. Both will remain actively involved at the Board level, working closely with the Leadership Team on strategic direction, partnerships, and the stewardship of DysrupIT’s culture and values.

The appointment reflects the next phase of DysrupIT’s journey following years of sustained growth across managed services, cloud, cybersecurity, AI, automation, and digital transformation.

“Building DysrupIT from the ground up has been a great privilege,” said Andrew McCarroll, Executive Chair and Co-Founder. “Benjamin has the vision, operational depth, client service, and people-first mindset to realise the full potential of the Company. Stepping into the Executive Chair role means I can pass the reins of DysrupIT to our new CEO, while the Board and I focus on strategy and growth, including the launch of our North American business and the continued expansion of our AI and Automation practice.”

Elizabeth Hermosura, Founding Director and Co-Founder, said the transition represents an exciting step forward while remaining grounded in the values that have shaped the business from the beginning.

“DysrupIT has always been about extraordinary people doing extraordinary work for our clients,” said Hermosura. “As Founding Director, I’ll continue to champion the culture, purpose, and relationships that make DysrupIT what it is. I couldn’t be prouder of the team we’ve built, or more confident in Benjamin as the right leader to carry it forward.”

Benjamin Romualdez brings more than 20 years of leadership experience across the technology and services sector, having held senior executive roles leading teams globally. Known for his strategic clarity, operational leadership, and client-centric approach, Benjamin has been closely aligned with DysrupIT’s mission and long-term vision.

Under his leadership, DysrupIT is expected to accelerate momentum across its managed services, enterprise cloud, AI, automation, and digital transformation offerings. Benjamin is a strong advocate for the role AI and automation play in building modern, high-performing organisations and has extensive experience helping businesses enhance operational performance while future-proofing their capabilities.

“I’m honoured to be stepping into the CEO role at DysrupIT,” said Romualdez. “Andrew and Elizabeth have built something truly special — a company defined by its people, its partnerships, and its commitment to client outcomes. I look forward to working with our talented team to build on that strong foundation and to write the next chapter of DysrupIT’s story together.”

The leadership changes officially take effect from 1 May 2026. DysrupIT confirmed there will be no changes to day-to-day operations, client engagements, or service delivery throughout the transition, with the broader Executive Team remaining in place.

As DysrupIT enters this next chapter, the Company remains focused on delivering meaningful outcomes for clients while continuing to invest in innovation, people, and long-term strategic growth.
